Re-Elect Stephanie Plante for Ward 12 Rideau-Vanier

Welcome to my 2026 election website!

For the past four years I have been honoured to have your trust to promote and protect the interests of Ward 12 constituents. I have lived in this ward since 2004 and I am looking forward to continuing to be your fearless advocate as your City Councillor. You can read my biography here.

On this site I will share details on how I met all of my commitments from when I ran for office in 2022 as a member of Ottawa City Council. With your support I will keep working hard to represent you and all the residents of Rideau-Vanier.

I will also lay out the next steps I believe we need to take to keep moving these issues forward. We have accomplished a great deal, but my job is not simply to point to what has already been done. My job is to make sure the priorities of Rideau-Vanier are heard loudly and clearly at City Hall.

Whether it is homelessness and the toxic drug crisis, protecting and promoting our francophone community, tackling climate change, making our streets safer, slowing down speeding vehicles or fighting for better housing, transit and public spaces, I will continue to be a strong and persistent champion for our neighbourhoods and the people who live here.

There is more work to do, and I intend to keep fighting to get it done.
