Welcome to my website! I have spent my entire career promoting and protecting our democratic institutions and I look forward to applying this experience should I be elected as your City Councillor. I love Rideau Vanier and have lived here for almost 20 years. Our Ward includes so many gems: Canada’s largest bilingual university, Ottawa’s busiest mall, the Byward Market, the history and heritage of Lowertown and Sandy Hill as well as the francophonie and vitality of Vanier. Creation of a Physician Recruitment Committee:
I am completely heartbroken hearing about our emergency wards closing, our ongoing issues in LTC and the offload times for paramedics. Many municipalities have put efforts into recruiting family physicians and those efforts have paid off. I want the City to consult with physicians to see how we can make Ottawa an attractive place for family physicians to work and stay.
Housing Options for All
Rideau-Vanier is special because we have a diversity of residents but it has become unaffordable. We need to ensure the longevity and vitality of our public housing options and ensure that those who want to live here can afford to do so.
